”I find through photography a good way of exploring light, composition, colour and texture. Taking pictures throught blurry or dirty glasses it’s a very effective way to replace or situate myself in another level of reality from what I am observing on the other side.

The distorsions that I get and the unexpectedness of using an analogic camera gives me a more painterly view so that it is easier to translate them when it comes to the act of painting”.
